?efik Can Dede will be remembered in prayers by his friends and loved ones on the 23rd of January at Üçler Hamu?an? (in Konya) following the dhuhr prayer.
The last of the long tradition of Mevlevi Shaykhs, Sefik Can Dede (Shafîq Jân), passed away at the age of 96, in his home in Suadiye on January 23rd 2005. We commemorate the 5th anniversary of ?efik Can Dede's reunion with Allah with both gratitude and compassion. May Allah pour all blessings upon his soul.
